Look at the new awesome thing Blizz looks like they're going to put into the game.. I can't wait! Especially for those of us that like to play both factions. Sweet! http://us.battle.net/realid/?rhtml=y

I've been reading about this and I'm pretty sure I won't be doing it. As I have seen others note, the friends of friends being viewable worries me and letting my Battle Net email address out is not wise in my opinion.

Friends of friends won't see you e-mail, but they will see your real name. E-mail is only used for adding people, it doesn't actually show up on the friends list.

People can add you from the friends of friends list without ever accessing your email. That only is available to the specific people you give it to. I'm very pleased that Real ID is now in effect.

I'm very pleased that Real ID is now in effect. Also, changing your battle.net e-mail is fairly easy. So if you want, you could make a dummy e-mail, change it to the dummy e-mail, add people, then switch it back to your secret login, if you don't feel comfortable giving that out.
